Daniel Muñoz is the skipper dedicated to transfers, he has extensive experience in ocean navigation and throughout the Mediterranean. For more than 20 years he has accumulated thousands of navigation miles in both sailboats and motor boats . He has a long history as a skipper on private yachts.
He has made several crossings of the Atlantic and is familiar with places such as the Caribbean, Cape Verde, the Canary Islands, the Balearic Islands, Costa Brava, Costa Azul, Corsica, Sardinia, Eólicas Island, Amalfi Coast, Italian Riviera, Monaco, Sicily… Among many others. places.
Transfer conditions:

The Documentation of the boat must be up to date and have in good condition the necessary basic safety material required by the certificate of navigability. It is essential to have a current insurance policy.

The boat and its equipment must be in good condition for navigation

The owner must sign a transport authorization in which he authorizes the skipper to take the boat to its destination.

The delivery date of the ship at the destination may vary from what was agreed due to weather conditions. In no case will navigation be forced in adverse conditions that could damage the vessel and endanger the crew. Safe navigation will always be chosen according to the criteria of the skipper.

The skipper will keep the logbook up to date to record everything that happened during the navigation.

The skipper will accredit the shipowner his academic and professional training with his curriculum and a copy of his professional qualifications. So that the owner knows in the hands of who puts his boat.
Transfer cost:

The cost of transportation will be calculated based on the miles of distance. The price per mile is €4.50 if the distance is not greater than 200 miles and de €4 from 200 to 1000 miles. For distances greater than 1000 miles, a custom budget will be made.

Fuel consumption costs will always be borne by the owner. As well as stopover expenses in ports foreseen according to the route, due to mechanical emergencies or unforeseen changes in the weather. As well as possible expenses in repairing breakdowns or some material that the boat requires.

The skipper's travel expenses to the place of departure and the return to the origin will be borne by the owner.
Payment conditions:

A payment of 50% of the transfer budget before departure will be made.

In the event that the 50% payment is not enough to pay the expenses calculated for the transfer, such as stopovers in puertos or refueling, a calculation of said expenses will be made and the amount will be agreed. payment to be delivered before departure.

Once the ship reaches its destination, the owner will pay the remaining part of the cost of the transfer. The skipper will deliver all the invoices for transportation expenses (fuel, berths in ports, etc.).
